WELCOME
to the "ALL ABOUT ME" page. There's a lot to see
from
this page; so take off your shoes and make yourself at home.
You might want to take an overview of the whole page before
you start.
Oh, and by the way, have some lemonade while you visit!
Hello,
my name is Linda and I am married to a wonderful husband.
His name is Steve. We live in Ohio and have been blessed with
two
children, Angela and David. We have 9 grandchildren. As you will
see from the items below that I am a very busy gal. I love to do all kinds
of crafts. Below is just a sampling of some of the things I have done over
the
years. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
**NOTE**--Because
there is so much to see, I have tried to make
traveling between all these pages as easy as possible, so
just
watch for directions at the bottom of the linked pages. You
can go
from one page to the next within each section without coming
back
here first. Hope this will help your visit to go more quickly.

And
whatsoever ye do, do it heartily,
as to the Lord, and not unto men;"
Colossians 3:23

I
love quilting and have several pictures to show of what I
have made.

This
quilt was made for our Christian school quilt auction.
It is called the
"Ohio Rose". I
appliquéd and pieced together this quilt top and a
friend quilted it. |
 |
This
wall hanging is called a Bow Tie pattern. |
 |
These
next four "Little
Quilts" are from the quilt book
entitled:
"Little Quilts All Through
The House", written by Alice Berg, Mary Ellen
Von Holt, and Sylvia Johnson. You can purchase this book
through Amazon.com. |

I used to do a lot of cross-stitching in
my younger years; mostly just making
pictures and giving
them for gifts. I have trouble seeing to do too much
of
this type of craft now. Here are a couple of pictures
that are in my home.
I would recommend very highly the Leisure Arts pattern books as they are
coded in color and very easy to read and understand.

This
"Victorian
House" picture was probably the
hardest and most involved for me to do. |
 |
My
daughter, Angela, made this "Betsy Ross"
picture when she was in high school. |
 |
Here
is a page of assorted small cross stitch "Friends" I
have made. |

The following
pictures are just a sample of other kinds of crafts
which
I have made and think you would enjoy seeing.

Just one of the many things I do is to
make wedding cakes. My friend, Bertha,
and I have
probably made well over 100 in the last 10 years. I have
included a
couple of pictures of two of the more elaborate ones that we have done. They look
good enough to eat, but
no tasting here!! Click on the wedding cake above.

When I have a few spare hours,
I love to do jigsaw puzzles. My favorite
ones are the Charles Wysocki's Americana
puzzles. Click
here to see what his
pictures look like in my site. |

|
Reading books is also a
favorite pastime of mine. My favorite authors
are Al Lacy, Janette Oke, and Gilbert Morris. I never knew
history could be so interesting until I started
reading the "House of Winslow" series
and the "Appomattox Saga" series by
Gilbert Morris. CLICK HERE for
more information on them and other Christian
writers.
