Besides
programming assistance, Greg has been able to provide useful insights that have
accelerated our learning process with program creation and in general equipment
operation. He has been very committed to meeting the time schedules he set and
also responsive to rush jobs based on our
program requirements. He understands the manufacturing and
production queue, how programming
delays impact it and the need for
immediate turn-around on revisions.
Ceemco Inc Speeds Up Startup OF
Salvagnini S4
In 2005 Ceemco Inc purchased our
first S4 Salvagnini fabrication center. This machine was acquired to add
capacity and to address our growing customer base. New product designs and
additional production requirements created a backlog in both our production
areas and our engineering support function. We needed a way to improve the
speed of new parts from the drawing stage to the production cycle. A mutual
friend suggested we contact Greg King, of Independent CNC Programming. After
receiving as many as 20 CNC programs, we have become fully aware of the
significant benefit Greg has given us during this S4 startup. Specific
advantages were derived in the areas of : programs
have been completed in a third of the time that our current programmers have
completed them, and are running smoothly and efficiently, more precise
methods of handling material have been introduced and implemented, as well as
clear documentation for individual program, allowing our programmers and
operators to gain detailed knowledge of the machine. It has been a pleasure
working with an Independent CNC Programmer. We would certainly recommend Greg

Alton Manufacturing purchased a Trumpf TC5000 Sheet Metal
Fabrication Center in June of 2005. We were unfamiliar with the Trumpf so
needless to say we were apprehensive about creating programs for the machine.
Before the machine had the opportunity to arrive Greg King was working with
us to develop a post processor that we could use in conjunction with our
SmartCAM software. As a result, we were able to hit the ground running;
within a week of the machine being delivered and set up, we were producing
shippable parts. Besides the post processor itself Greg helped us set up a
tool library, set up with macros for multi-tool stations and radius tools,
and so on. He even provided us with ideas for fabricating tool storage
stands. Through the inevitable debugging process Greg was always vailable and eager to help us out and answer our
questions. His assistance went well above and beyond what one would normally
expect.
